The BMGA Fellows Program, presented by the BMGA Foundation, is a social impact initiative aimed at narrowing the gender skills gap among university graduates in Africa and Asia. This six-month experiential learning program is designed to empower young women with the knowledge, access, and resources needed to develop fundamental employability skills for a successful career in the 21st century.
This fully virtual program offers:
- High-level professional development courses
- Mentorship from graduate students in top global universities
- Coaching from senior-level executives with international experience
- Life skills training to prepare young women for the future of work
The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) is an official partner for the BMGA Fellows Program, and previous cohorts have been supported by various esteemed organizations.
Selected participants will undergo an intensive six-month learning experience, utilizing modern technological tools and resources for transformational learning. The program consists of modules led by industry experts, professors, and thought leaders from top institutions worldwide, featuring live classes, group discussions, and other interactive learning activities.
Eligibility:
- Young women from Africa and Asia
- Final-year university students and early-career professionals with no more than three years of post-undergraduate work experience
- Excellent academic record: Applicants must have graduated top of their class or have a current CGPA equivalent to a B+ [UK grade point system]
- Proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and reading)
- Regular access to the internet
