We understand that speaking up against injustices can attract legal challenges, which is why we are equally prepared to face the system head on legally.
Our Students Union has a diverse network of lawyers and lawyer organizations that provide immense free legal support to all students who are victims of human rights violations. We believe that every student deserves access to justice, regardless of their socio-economic background, political affiliations, or beliefs. Therefore, we offer legal assistance to students who are facing a range of legal issues, including but not limited to:
- Students who have been arbitrarily arrested
- Students who have been denied their fundamental right to bail
- Students whose freedoms of expression, association, and assembly have been violated.
Any action that is unjust in the eyes of the law in our democratic system, we challenge and give a fortified legal barrier to protect them. Our lawyers are passionate about defending the rights of students and ensuring that justice is always served.
