If you are an undergraduate student in Administration seeking practical training or a place to complete your final project, consider spending 2 to 12 months at CERN during your studies (Bachelor or Master’s). This opportunity is ideal for those pursuing disciplines such as translation, human resources, business administration, law, finance, engineering management, science communication, and more.
A panel of CERN experts reviews applications three times a year (February, June, and October), selecting around 50 students annually to join the programme.
Qualifications
To qualify for the programme, you must meet the following requirements:
- National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
- Completed at least 18 months of undergraduate studies (Bachelor or Master’s) in an administrative field by June 2024.
- Registered as a full-time student during the internship.
- Good knowledge of English or French.
Please note that if you are studying in a STEM/engineering field, you are not eligible for this position; instead, consider applying for the CERN Technical Student Programme.

- Monthly allowance: 3407 Swiss Francs (net of tax).
